Monday Mashup

No sales this Monday but all the items are still available. Did the weekend fly by or was that just me? I was supposed to run 18 miles on Saturday but woke up with a killer headache. By the time it subsided it was already 11:30 and quite hot out here in SoCal so I only managed to get in 12 before I gave up. I am really struggling at this point in the marathon training. I feel like it has gone on forever and yet I still have 7 weeks until I actually run the dang thing. Oh yeah and not having a training partner, outside of my pup, isn't ideal either! How do you guys keep yourself motivated?

My second question is this: when you are having a bad day, how do you keep your chin up? Do you have a mantra you say, a prayer you read, or do you just go bury yourself under the covers? Let's get some comments flowing here people!

Why all the clothes??

well.....if you may ask....ok nobody asked and nobody has commented yet so I am basically talking to myself (something I am pretty good at, just ask my dog (and yes he will talk back to you)) but my friends convinced me to sign up for a marathon and after all this running, on top of what I normally do, I am now firmly a size 2 and not a 4! Of course a 4 is not big to start with but I am quite a short person, so the smaller size, the better the length will fit and the less rotund and square I will look. *cue applause*

I am less than 2 months out from the marathon, successfully completed 17 miles last weekend with an average time of 9:18/mile and have a nice 18 miler to look forward to this weekend. nice = really long, tiring, and not what I really want to spend almost 3 hours of my Saturday doing, but then I remember, size 2, not 4:)

Welcome to my Blog!

I have a confession to make...I am a blog stalker! Each day I read countless blogs that provide me with hours of entertainment and I feel like I know these girls so well. So I decided after long last, to join up and start a blog! My blog is going to focus on second time around clothing, hence the title. I currently have an overloaded closet and have made the resolution to not re-stock until I empty some of it out. Most of my clothing is still in great shape and quality and just needs a new home and a new owner (no my clothing is not a pet!) Every so often I am going to have sales on here and hopefully you will be able to find some fashion steals and I will accomplish my goal of cleaning out my closet! I do have to confess that I don't have a wide range of trendy styles - I own about half of J.Crew, a quarter of GAP, with a side of Banana Republic tossed in there. I hope you all enjoy the blog!
